Hi everyone, today I’m sharing this years Desk Calendar.
This year I have gone for a smaller 8″ x 8″ version which fits perfectly on my desk.
Last year I made an A4 version which I loved and shared that tutorial below.
This project uses full 8″ x 8″ sheets so its perfect for using up papers!
I added the white eyelets for extra strength and to give the calendar a more finished look.
To make this calendar you will need…
12 pieces of 8″ x 8″ patterned paper. I used the First Edition “Forever Free” papers available from Amazon.
Monthly calendar grids, I used a calendar from Muji, nows a good time to buy 2019 calendars as they are all heavily reduced. Alternatively, you can find many free calendar downloads online, just type in “Free Calendar Downloads”
I used my 1.1/2 or 38mm binder rings available from eBay.
1 piece of 8″ x A4 length strong cardstock for your stand. Score along the long side at 8″, 9.1/2 & 11″
1 piece of 8″ x 8.1/2 strong cardstock, again for your stand. Score along the 8.1/2 side at 8″.
The white eyelets I used are the 4mm ones from eBay.
Check out my full tutorial below.
These make nice gifts and lay flat for easy storage or posting.
I used 300gsm cardstock for my stand to guarantee it stays strong for the year.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Happy crafting.
Sam
