Hello everyone, I’ve made another storage box this time one to hold my 8″ x 8″ paper packs.
So many of you loved my 6″ x 6″ version and asked me to make a bigger one, however at the time I didn’t need one myself, but since joining the Trimcraft design team I’ve got a lot of 8″ x 8″ paper packs.
You can make this a double storage as I’ve done or as a single box, which I explain in my tutorial.
I used the new First Edtion “Chasing Rainbows” paper pack which is so whimsical and fun. If you love, rainbows, unicorns, and pink! then you will enjoy these papers.
Available from Amazon.
To make this storage you will need…
2-4 pieces of 9.1/2 x 7.1/8 Chipboard for the front & back of each box.
2 pieces of 10″ x 8.3/4 pattern paper to cover the front & back pieces.
2 pieces of 10″ x 8.3/4 white paper to cover the front and back pieces. (Only if you’re making the double version).
2-4 pieces of 7.1/8 x 3.1/8 chipboard for the sides of your box.
1- 2 pieces of 8.1/2 x 3.1/8 chipboard for the base of each box.
1 piece of 7.1/2 x 9.1/2 chipboard for your main large base if you’re making the double version.
1 piece of 11″ x 9″ pattern paper to cover the main base if you’re making the double version.
1 piece of 4.1/4 x 9.1/2 chipboard for the base for the single version.
1 piece of 5.1/4 x 10.1/2 pattern paper to cover the base for the single version.
Metal protective corners available from eBay.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
I cut out some of the printed images from the pack to decorate the front, along with some thick ribbon which I wrapped around the top.
I love making my own storage and if you’re new to my channel you can now make the 6″ x 6″ version to match.
Thank you for popping by.
Happy crafting.

Lovely box with clear instructions
Thank you 🙂
Really cute box, if you have more than one box of 6×6 or 8x 8 you could theme your decorations according to the themes of your paper pads. My solids are in one, florals in another and all other printed in another
Great idea! 🙂
