Hi everyone, I swear Monday’s come round way to fast!
Today I’m sharing these Pretty Easel Stand Cards using the April issue of Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine.
I’m really enjoying the papers in this issue. You get 31 papers plus free digital ones, so lots to play with.
I wanted a card that would show off the pretty papers and think this style card works perfectly.
Such a simple style, but with a big impact.
To make this card you will need…
A 5″ x 7″ card blank.
With the card blank in landscape orientation mark at 2″ & 5″ with a pencil, do the same along the outer side and join up the pencil marks. With a trimmer, cutting knife or scissors remove these 2 outer rectangles so that you just have one flap in the middle.
1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 coloured card to mat the inside of the card.
1 piece of 4.1/2 x 6.1/2 pattern paper to layer on top.
1 piece of 2.3/4 x 4.3/4 coloured card to mat the outer flap.
Stamps, die cuts and embellishments to decorate.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
I fussy cut the floral images after sticking them onto some card using the Tesa Easy Stick, this dries quickly and hard turning your image into a workable embellishment.
You can buy the Easy Stick through my Amazon Storefront below.
I also made this beautiful “M” Fold Card with the papers.
To make this style card check out my tutorial below.
And I made this Aperture Card.
These papers work so well with many different style cards.
Thank you for stopping day and I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Happy crafting
Sam
