Hi everyone today I’m halfway through my Creative Card Series 2019 and sharing this nice Double Gatefold Card.
A very simple fold but a perfect one for showing off these pretty Retro Daze papers by Paper Addicts, available from Amazon here.
The card folds down to a 6″ x 6″ size and will fit into an envelope.
I decorated it with the new Dovecraft Wooden Bunting and fussy cut elements from the papers.
The Wooden Bunting is available from Amazon here.
I finished it off with a couple acetate butterflies.
The large ‘Let’s Celebrate’ stamp is available from Craft Stash here. They have sold out online from The Works.
To make this card you will need…
2 pieces of 12″ x 6″ cardstock for the main card.
Score along the 12″ side at 3″ & 6″ on both pieces.
4 – 8 pieces of 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to mat the 4 panels on the front and back.
2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to decorate the front middle section and the back.
1 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 white paper to stick on the back to write your message.
Die cuts, stamps & embellishments to decorate.
Check out my full tutorial below.
I love these types of cards with lots of areas to decorate.
You can write on the front middle section, or on the back as I intend too.
I used the Dovecraft Essentials Sentiment stamp set available from Amazon here.
I like the retro feel of this paper pack and the colour palette is really different from anything I’ve got.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Happy crafting everyone.

Gorgeous card Samantha, beautifully done xx

Admire all your cards. My paper is not 12×12. It is A4 which is just short of 12×12. How would I adjust the scoring?
Hi Brenda, if you score the first 2 score lines at one end and then flip the card and score them again you will get even panels on both ends. You will need to adjust the mats and layers but scoring that way is the easiest way. Hop that helps. Sam 🙂
Fabulous card. Love the colors and the paper packet you used. Wish we could get it in the states.
If you keep checking the Craft Stash website below, they will stock the papers soon and ship to the US. 🙂 http://tidd.ly/1afa6cd9
