Hi everyone, we are now into the second week of this year’s Creative Card Series and I have 7 more to share with you all.
Today I have this beautiful Concertina Garden Card.
I got the idea to make these when I purchased the wooden picket fences from The Works a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, they still don’t have them online but they are still in stores as of the 13/07/2019.
A lot of you probably recognise the flowers as they are the same ones I used for last weeks Pop Up Box Card.
They are from the free Pop Up Box kit in issue 176 of Papercraft Essentials magazine available from Craft Stash here.
I made a handy box envelope for it due to its thickness when folded.
This is a long card and stands just under 7″ tall.
To make this card you will need…
Mini wooden fence pieces or you can make your own from cardstock.
Some acetate strips to stick the flowers.
Cardstock to back the backside of the card to conceal the flowers and as a place for you to write a message.
For the Box Envelope.
1 piece of 7.1/4 x 9.1/4 cardstock
Score along the 7.1/4 side at 1″ & 6.1/4
Score along the 9.1/4 side at 1″ & 8.1/4
1 piece of 7.1/4 x 9.3/4 cardstock
Score along the 7.1/4 side at 1″ & 6.1/4
Score along the 9.3/4 side at 1/2″, 1.1/2 & 8.3/4
1 piece of 5″ x 7″ pattern paper to decorate the front of the box.
Check out my full tutorial below.
This is sure to put a smile on the recipient’s face and brighten up any fireplace or side table.
The box envelope measures 5.1/4 x 7.1/4, making it perfect for any 3D 5″ x 7″ cards.
So many lovely colours.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful week.

Loved making this card, both the recipants were delighted with it. I made the flowers myself instead of the ones from the magazine.
I would love to find a cottage big enough to go behind the flowers. Thank you for all your great ideas, I look forward to all your emails.
