Hey everyone, today I’m sharing this very handy crate style gift box or storage box and it’s very easy to make!
This turned out so much better then I thought and can be used for so many things, I thought as a nice Christmas Eve box or some nice Christmas storage.
I distressed everything with some brown inks and added some rope for the handles which I think makes it look more authentic.
I love the big bow, the red truck and tree are lovely.

2-3mm Greyboard/Chipboard, mine is from Amazon here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS CRATE
6 pieces of 2″ x 11.3/4 or 12″ greyboard for the front and back.
6 pieces of 2″ x 6″ greyboard for the sides.
4 pieces of 2″ x 7″ kraft card for the outer hinges.
Score along the 2″ side at 1″
1 piece of 6″ x 11.3/4 greyboard for the base.
1 piece of 6″ x 11.3/4 pattern paper to cover the inside of the base.
2 pieces of 2″ x 11.3/4 or 12″ kraft card for the reinforced long inside hinges.
Score along the 2″ side at 1″
2 pieces of 2″ x 6″ kraft card for the reinforced short inside hinges.
Score along the 2″ side at 1″
4 pieces of 2″ x 6.7/8 kraft card for the inside side reinforced hinges.
Score along the 2″ side at 1″
Rope for the handles.
Thick ribbon for the bow.

Such a cute crate to have on display, especially at the Holiday time. This would be so cute also sitting on the bathroom sick with towels in it. TYFS
