EASY Bay Window Cards

Hi everyone, I had, had a few requests to make a Bay Window card, after looking on Pinterest I saw one by Maria Taylor from Cards Taylor Made by Maria .

At first glance, you think this card is quite complex, but it’s actually incredibly easy.

I made a 5′ x 7′ version, but it’s very easy to make any size you like.

It folds completely flat and will fit into a 5′ x 7′ envelope.

Having the aperture is also optional, these cards look lovely with the 3 panels covered with pattern paper and a matching topper in the centre panel.

I chose to have the back for my message, but if you don’t cut into the panels like I did, then you can write your message under the 3 panel section.

I used my Papercraft Society kit to decorate these cards.

2 pieces of 5′ x 7′ card.

Score 1 piece at 1/2′, 2.1/2, 4.1/2 & 6.1/2

1 piece of 5′ x 7′ pattern paper to cover the inside of the card.

3 pieces of 1.3/4 x 4.3/4 pattern paper to decorate the 3 panels.

2 strips of 1/4′ x 4.3/4 pattern paper to decorate both sides.

1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 pattern paper and 1 piece of 4.1/2 x 6.1/2 white paper to mat and layer the back.
