Hey everyone, sorry my blog is late today, my day just ran away and I didn’t have enough hours!
Earlier I shared these cute Flip Page Mini Albums to hold 6″ x 4″ photos.
This one is using the Helz Cuppleditch “Christmas Village” collection by Trimcraft.
This one is using last years “Oh What Fun” paper and accessories pack by My Minds Eye. This was given to me as a gift from Louise at Thompsons Craft Supplies and I urge you to go and take a look at all the wonderful paper packs she has in stock currently.
Just look how adorable these images are…I covered Santa’s sack with some Flower Soft for texture and the raindeers antlers in some Wink of Stella for sparkle.
I sat and fussy cut some of the cute images from one of the 12 x 12 sheets, I also used my Versa Maker and heat embossed some red glitter on Santa’s hat and coat and the little elves dress.
Each page flips down and can hold 3-4 photos.
To make these easy mini albums you will need…
2 pieces of 5.1/2″ x 7″ chipboard. 1mm or 2mm will be fine. I used the Dovecraft Essentials Greyboard from Amazon.
2 pieces of 9″ x 7″ pattern paper to decorate your front and back cover.
2 pieces of 6.3/4 x 5,1.4 red cardstock to cover the inside of your front and back covers.
10 pieces of 10″ x 6.1/2 red cardstock. Score along the 10″ side at 4.5/8
20 strips of 3/4″ x 6.1/4 pattern paper.
30-40 pieces of 4.1/4 x 6.1/4 of white cardstock to mat your pages. If you decide to have 30 then you will need 10 of the same size in pattern paper to mat the front flip of each page.
White eyelets from eBay. 4mm or 5mm will both work ok.
2 x 45mm binder rings. I got mine from eBay.
Silver book corner protectors. Mine are from eBay.
Embellishments, die-cuts, stamps etc to decorate your cover.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
I like to be able to see the papers I use and chose to keep the front flips free from photos so you can just enjoy the fun papers.
The back of the album is just as nice as the front when you’re using such great papers.
Thank you as always for popping over to my blog and sorry for the delay in posting today, it’s a little crazy right now!
Happy crafting
Sam
