#8 Pretty Faceted Gift Bag

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing Gift Bag number 8 of my Handbag Series.

This faceted style is inspired by a Comtesse bag from 1990.

This is a great sized gift bag with a pretty bow fastening at the top

I added some faux metal corners using silver card which I think finishish the bag perfectly.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THIS GIFT BAG

The ‘Moments’ 12 x 12 paper pad I used is unavailable online, however you still may be able to find it in your local The Works store.

Crafts Too A4 Lattice Hearts Embossing Folder (Unavailable)

Crop-a-dile hole punch available here.

Hair straighteners I used to straighten the ribbon available here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS GIFT BAG

2 pieces of 10′ x 12′ card for the front and back of the bag.

Score along the 10′ side at 1/2′

Score along the 12′ side with the 1/2′ scoreline along the top at 4′ & 8′ just down to the scoreline. Then flip the card so the other 12′ side is along the top and score at 6′ down to 6′ You also need to mark at 1.1/2 & 10.1/2 DO NOT SCORE

2 pieces of 4′ x 7.1/2 card for the base.

2 circles 2′ in diameter.

2 strips of 2.1/2 x 12′ and 1′ x 12′ to decorate the front AND BACK.
